  1. I can say that this score sounds like JW always has , with no hint that he's 94 and suffered health problems in the past few years.
  2. I don't understand why they cut the soaring version of Memory out of the end credits
  3. Memory,Celestial,Reprise
  4. Not sure it's the same and wouldn't call it a melody, but sounds similar.
  5. I don't think most people seeing this film will notice the score that much except the Memory and Celestial cues.
  6. There's that low strings motif at the beginning of negociation... that I've heard a few times in the film , that's associated with the Colin Flirth character. Sounds like the Palpatine stuff from RoTS.
  7. Speaking of Desplat, Memory is kind of like this
  8. At first I thought that too but I think that horn part was microedited in the film
  9. I think the OST version of Celestial is longer and more complete than the film version .I don't think the twinkly version of the Memory theme at the end is in the film
  10. I speak French, but why are people speaking French on this forum? And why are some people using these weird fonts to post now.
  11. I didn't realise everyone is taking a dump on this movie. But I still liked it better than WotW, Ready Player One , BFG, Minority report or whatever historical dramas Spielberg has done in the past 2 decades .
  12. So 20-25 minutes of unreleased music? To my surprise it's some of the action music I noticed was unreleased and would have wanted on the OST. Not like there was no room for it, the c.d. is only 64 minutes. And I might add that some of this unreleased action music is better and more "classic Williams" sounding than what ended up on the OST. One thing I didn't like. The music in the final scene of the movie ( In Vivo on the OST). It's quite a boring track for a "Finale" . JW could have expanded on the Memory theme or Celestial theme or something. Also, a lot the OST contains extended cues with parts that were unused in the film, so I guess it balances out.
  13. I saw the movie so I can graduate to this thread. oh, my , reading some of this thread makes me think I'm the only one who enjoyed this film.
  14. I saw the movie today. I liked it a lot and it felt like a 70's/early 80's Spielberg movie. I noticed quite a bit of unreleased action music that sounded very good.
  15. Hold a candle? Williams is clearly better than those golden age composers
