Neimoidian 14 Posted October 14, 2008 Posted October 14, 2008 A cool old video from Danny Elfman's rock career Enjoywooo cutie! :)You're welcome. There are pleny Oingo Boingo clips on YT... I am amazed. Not only I like these songs (and I generaly don't), but also I have heard some of them in the past not knowing it's Elfman. Here is a clip from The Gong Show (which btw. recalled me Confessions of Dangerous Mind) with Oingo Bongo doing some weird performance. Hillarious.

Jim 6,172 Posted October 17, 2008 Posted October 17, 2008 A typical Metallica concert intro, to Morricone http://uk.youtube.com/watch?feature=relate...p;v=j0GiQPUCv0M
Guest macrea Posted October 20, 2008 Posted October 20, 2008 This is pretty cool... a 1985 Paramount sales reel. Raiders music is used to promote Top Guns [sic], a new Indiana Jones is announced, and perhaps most significantly, there is possibly the only tangible artifact of Spielberg's Peter Pan.
Jim 6,172 Posted October 26, 2008 Posted October 26, 2008 After laughing I was suddenly and sharply brought back down to earth. That isn't funny, that is... worrying. Oh Lord please don't let Lucas see that video Oh and Henry, would you like your AV to be animated a little? Let me know and I'll make it.
Hitch 60 Posted October 27, 2008 Posted October 27, 2008 Not funny...not funny at all. An animated rape scene avatar would be going just a little too far. Can you do a Brokeback Mountain version for me?
Morlock 11 Posted October 28, 2008 Posted October 28, 2008 Not really a youtube clip, but Yo-Yo Ma was on the Colbert Report last night, and I thought made for an interesting interview, as well as a fun performance. The episode can be seen at http://www.comedycentral.com/colbertreport...pisodeId=189599 (the last two segments are with Ma).
Maglorfin 218 Posted October 28, 2008 Posted October 28, 2008 Friedrich Gulda's Cello concerto. AMAZING! 1st movement2nd movement3rd movement4th movement5th movementPerformed by the great Gautier Capucon on these vids, but I'd love to hear Yo-Yo Ma battle with the part (which is, as I've been told, extremely difficult).
Koray Savas 2,259 Posted November 2, 2008 Posted November 2, 2008 Everyone here will get a kick out of .
Nick Parker 3,049 Posted November 2, 2008 Posted November 2, 2008 I watched that yesterday. Though it can drag a little, I find it rather amusing, and the outtakes are somewhat funny, as well.
Hlao-roo 390 Posted November 3, 2008 Posted November 3, 2008 I don't keep up with this thread, so chances are this has been posted already, but I think is fantastic, and most original: I think JW would get a kick out of it.
indy4 160 Posted November 3, 2008 Posted November 3, 2008 That was fantastic!Log Throw FAIL:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZMOdPT7VzQE...feature=relatedBest Man FAIL:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0mP3FqUUAAw
Hitch 60 Posted November 7, 2008 Posted November 7, 2008 Check out the rest of these "Invasion" clips. Very cleverly edited. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4NcLGQsW8UoI had to laugh at 04:03
Jacob 1 Posted November 12, 2008 Posted November 12, 2008 Neat fan trailer for Temple of Doom: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LtQ7f6B1SI4...feature=related
indy4 160 Posted November 12, 2008 Posted November 12, 2008 That was very nicely edited, but the choice of music made it feel more like a thriller than an adventure film. Which is more fitting for ToD than any other Indy film, but still not fitting.
Red 75 Posted November 12, 2008 Posted November 12, 2008 It is a pretty intense and somewhat misleading trailer, but still really well done.
filmmusic 3,031 Posted November 14, 2008 Posted November 14, 2008 FUNNY VOCAL TRIBUTE TO WILLIAMS:I don't know if this has ever been posted here:
Koray Savas 2,259 Posted November 17, 2008 Posted November 17, 2008 That video was stupid. got me rolling. Fam Guy just made fun of it tonight.
Ray Barnsbury 8 Posted November 17, 2008 Posted November 17, 2008 That grape fall is one of my favorite "blooper" videos. It's horribly funny...the sounds she makes!
Koray Savas 2,259 Posted November 17, 2008 Posted November 17, 2008 I couldn't stop laughing. I had to go back and do a little AB-action. How stupid do you have to be to fall like that?! Just thinking about it makes me crack up.EDIT: I just watched it again.
Bowie 46 Posted November 17, 2008 Posted November 17, 2008 That grape fall is one of my favorite "blooper" videos. It's horribly funny...the sounds she makes!I always feel like I'm going to have bad karma for laughing at that video. It's just so hard to keep it in.PS - Ray, I think your avatar should say "NOTE" to replace "HOPE" I actually am about to order a t-shirt of the Joker saying "JOKE" but I am reconsidering it. Maybe I could organize to get your avatar/NOTE made? LOL
indy4 160 Posted November 22, 2008 Posted November 22, 2008 I have this on Spaced Out. Never fails to make me laugh. Also get "Highly Illogical."

Morlock 11 Posted November 24, 2008 Posted November 24, 2008 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QjWG5KthHxA Might've been posted before. Random Youtubing, found this clip of Richard Dreyfuss talking about the score to Jaws, from what is a apparantly a PBS special dedicated to JW.
indy4 160 Posted November 25, 2008 Posted November 25, 2008 It's nice to see Hollywood hot shots paying tribute to the lesser known stars of film.
Ray Barnsbury 8 Posted November 25, 2008 Posted November 25, 2008 That's a great clip - good find! I'd love to see the rest of the show.
Saxbabe 28 Posted November 25, 2008 Posted November 25, 2008 And an ouchworthy example of what can happen if one does not use good timpani technique...
Morlock 11 Posted November 25, 2008 Posted November 25, 2008 That's a great clip - good find! I'd love to see the rest of the show. I sent the uploader a message to that effect, hasn't gotten back to me yet.
indy4 160 Posted November 25, 2008 Posted November 25, 2008 And an ouchworthy example of what can happen if one does not use good timpani technique... What happened to the stick? Was it stuck in his nose??
Omen II 1,297 Posted November 25, 2008 Posted November 25, 2008 What makes that clip so funny (apart from the freak accident, of course) is the double take that the cymbal player does at about 0.16!Anyhoo, artyjeffrey's thread about the 1980 Hollywood TV series on the other topics board got me to thinking about Carl Davis's finest hour as a composer.
indy4 160 Posted November 27, 2008 Posted November 27, 2008 Somebody mentioned this in the Star Trek thread, but I figured it'd be worth posting in this thread:
Wojo 2,458 Posted December 2, 2008 Posted December 2, 2008 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v4ijDlbvAxwWell made Star Trek vs Star Wars movie clip.
John Crichton 4 Posted December 2, 2008 Posted December 2, 2008 That was actually pretty funny. Well chosen clips.
Jacob 1 Posted December 4, 2008 Posted December 4, 2008 MontyPython's Official YouTube ChannelI'm not much of a fan but thought some of you others might appreciate this.
