Charlie Brigden 7 Posted November 1, 2008 Posted November 1, 2008 That's a pretty neat and unique design, especially the back cover.Thanks. I was kind of inspired after being at a bookshop last week and flicking through the Indiana Jones Journal. Well, that and the track "Spalko's Dossier."
earth_edge 0 Posted November 14, 2008 Posted November 14, 2008 Here's cover art I made for the Indy movies... I basically did it for iTunes... they're dumb I know (my pics not iTunes), hahttp://img119.imageshack.us/img119/552/ind...thekingdho6.jpghttp://img217.imageshack.us/img217/4310/raidersartur8.jpghttp://img217.imageshack.us/img217/5312/templearttn0.jpghttp://img217.imageshack.us/img217/9711/crusadeartnl1.jpg
Pieter Boelen 1,019 Posted November 21, 2008 Posted November 21, 2008 Somebody made some great-looking cover art for Indiana Jones that was posted in the box set thread.Naturally I cannot find it anymore and I don't remember who it was either.Anyway, I was thinking it might be nice to have it posted in this thread as well and possibly on indianajonesmusic.com too. Also, would there be any chance for the person who made it to make a similar style cover for Indiana Jones and the Emperor's Tomb?BTW: If ever a sort-of "definitive" 2-CD edition is decided upon for each Indiana Jones film, is anybody going to make back covers for that as well?I really like Charlie Brigden's back cover design and would like to see something along those lines for the other films as well. And good job to Mr.Movies for his Superman IV cover.Do you happen to have similarly styled covers for the other Superman films?Could anyone answering please send me a PM as well? With my slow Internet, it's hard to find any replies through all the dozens of pages here.
Jacob 1 Posted November 21, 2008 Posted November 21, 2008 I think that was member JanBing. Here's his Crystal Skull cover: http://jwfan.com/forums/index.php?s=&s...st&p=497683I can't find his other post with the other three. It might have gotten lost with the board database backup problems a little while back.
Koray Savas 2,256 Posted November 21, 2008 Posted November 21, 2008 Does anyone have cover art for the 4CD recording sessions of Schindler's List?
Pieter Boelen 1,019 Posted November 22, 2008 Posted November 22, 2008 Thanks a lot, J Dan! That's indeed it!Luckily I saved the files.Still I wouldn't to see more where that came from. It's very good work indeed.
Jamesyboy 4 Posted November 22, 2008 Posted November 22, 2008 Does anyone have cover art for the 4CD recording sessions of Schindler's List?Hey there! I made some that are located on page 3 of this thread. Hope that helps.James
Koray Savas 2,256 Posted November 22, 2008 Posted November 22, 2008 Cool! I also used your COD4 artwork.
Admiral Holdo 16 Posted November 23, 2008 Posted November 23, 2008 And good job to Mr.Movies for his Superman IV cover.Do you happen to have similarly styled covers for the other Superman films?Haha, thank you. I actually tried to make it fit in with the LP covers of 2 and 3, but I guess I could make some for the rest of the series. It was fun making that one.
Luke Skywalker 2,205 Posted November 23, 2008 Author Posted November 23, 2008 Here they are the cover for the 'expanded' more music from indiana jones CD:I used this art since it was very fitting: Its an unused painting for the old DVD pak case
Erik Woods 804 Posted November 24, 2008 Posted November 24, 2008 Check the Track 4 spelling of Raiders of the LOST Ark -Erik-
Luke Skywalker 2,205 Posted November 24, 2008 Author Posted November 24, 2008 Check the Track 4 spelling of Raiders of the LOST Ark -Erik-DAMN. I cut and pasted it erroriously in all the tracks and i noticed it. I thought i had corrected them all.
Pieter Boelen 1,019 Posted November 24, 2008 Posted November 24, 2008 That looks amazing! Must've cost you quite some effort, that!BTW: Doesn't the Iskenderun track have pretty bad sound quality? And how about "The Bridge"?Would it be possible for everyone making back covers to also make a blank version? That way people who make a different tracklist for themselves can still use your work by adding their own tracklist on the back.
Jay 42,500 Posted November 24, 2008 Posted November 24, 2008 Why are "Iskenderun" and the nazi march on there, but not Packet From Dad, Inscription On The Rock, The Catacombs, Elsa's Betrayal, etc etc?
Charlie Brigden 7 Posted November 24, 2008 Posted November 24, 2008 Looks good, Luke. The back cover is excellent. A couple of comments:- The image on the front cover needs a little bit of blending, as it's separated a bit too much.- "Wharehouse Escape."

A couple of comments:- The image on the front cover needs a little bit of blending, as it's separated a bit too much.- "Wharehouse Escape."1-OK2-Damn (again)Iskenderum and der kroningratzer are there because the two are almost free of distortion, and i did not put them on too high volume. The rest of the crusade cues are almost unbearable. Only the beggining of inscription on the rock is decent and catacombs too if it didnt had the mp3 crap brackground sound.I just put the blank cover since no one will have the same Cd as me...
Trent B 347 Posted November 24, 2008 Posted November 24, 2008 I hate noticing typos after I'm done finishing a cover. Most of the time I try to check it before I close photoshop out to make sure everything's perfect but sometimes once in a while some will slip through the crack.
Charlie Brigden 7 Posted December 6, 2008 Posted December 6, 2008 Knocked out one for the SW: Force Unleashed promo.
Pieter Boelen 1,019 Posted December 8, 2008 Posted December 8, 2008 That looks very nice.I would prefer one in a similar style to the other soundtracks though.Do you think something like that would be possible?
Nick Parker 3,048 Posted December 8, 2008 Posted December 8, 2008 To be honest, I cannot say I care for your front cover, but the back looks fantastic.
Trent B 347 Posted December 8, 2008 Posted December 8, 2008 Why do some people feel it's necessary to include the bar code on the back tray? I think it's a bit over the top to include the bar code...
Charlie Brigden 7 Posted December 8, 2008 Posted December 8, 2008 That looks very nice.I would prefer one in a similar style to the other soundtracks though.Do you think something like that would be possible? It would definitely be possible, if you wanted it. Which ones do you mean? The prequels? The 1997 SEs? The 2004 SEs?Why do some people feel it's necessary to include the bar code on the back tray? I think it's a bit over the top to include the bar code...I usually include it because my aim is to produce something that, theoretically, wouldn't be out of place on a shelf in a store. I don't include it on everything (I didn't use it for my Indy expanded ones), but I do on a lot of them.
Mr. Breathmask 594 Posted December 11, 2008 Posted December 11, 2008 Much like the chronological film score thread, the first post of this topic has now been edited to include links to the other covers in this thread.Cheers,- Marc
Pieter Boelen 1,019 Posted December 12, 2008 Posted December 12, 2008 Now THERE's a good idea! Brilliant! It would definitely be possible, if you wanted it. Which ones do you mean? The prequels? The 1997 SEs? The 2004 SEs?Believe it or not, but I'd actually like it in the style of the 2004 SEs.I actualy made my own prequel front covers in that style too (posted somewhere in this thread, I think).Unlike the real 2004 SEs though, my versions really ARE bad Photoshop jobs!

Charlie Brigden 7 Posted December 12, 2008 Posted December 12, 2008 Bad photoshop ahoy!Is this what you wanted, Pieter?
Pieter Boelen 1,019 Posted December 13, 2008 Posted December 13, 2008 Thanks very much! That's a nice one.
King Mark 3,834 Posted December 18, 2008 Posted December 18, 2008 luke, why didn't you put the track list on the "more music from Indiana Jones" back cover?
Luke Skywalker 2,205 Posted December 18, 2008 Author Posted December 18, 2008 luke, why didn't you put the track list on the "more music from Indiana Jones" back cover?since everyone was going to have different tracklists it was no use of having my tracklist.mmm i think i could do the actual official cd...
Trent B 347 Posted December 18, 2008 Posted December 18, 2008 Well I'm surely but slowly getting better at making custom covers for myself. I'm also slowly but surely starting to resize pictures properly so they don't stretch. I just recently finished up redoing my covers for Superman Returns complete score and I like this one better than before. I know I will never do as good of a job as Erik Woods and Jamesyboy but I like how they turn out.
Luke Skywalker 2,205 Posted December 18, 2008 Author Posted December 18, 2008 I just recently finished up redoing my covers for Superman Returns complete score and I like this one better than before.I hope you mean some previous covers by you...Anyhow... What was wrong with my covers? KM Indy Oficial 5th CD back cover is up
Trent B 347 Posted December 18, 2008 Posted December 18, 2008 I hope you mean some previous covers by you...DUH!Anyhow... What was wrong with my covers? Nothing but I just like making my own now.Around has one "r"Who's that addressed to?
Luke Skywalker 2,205 Posted December 18, 2008 Author Posted December 18, 2008 Around has one "r"DAMN!Fixed with a nice addition.
Luke Skywalker 2,205 Posted December 18, 2008 Author Posted December 18, 2008 ok,cool!Glad to be of help
rpvee 933 Posted December 29, 2008 Posted December 29, 2008 I'm bored, any requests?I have one, but it's not for a score...
Pieter Boelen 1,019 Posted December 29, 2008 Posted December 29, 2008 I'm bored, any requests? How about a series of similar-styled covers for all the Star Wars scores, including also video game scores, such as The Force Unleashed, Knights of the Old Republic, Knights of the Old Republic II, and Shadows of the Empire?

Rpvee, what is it you're after? This probably won't appeal to most, but I thought I'd throw it up anyway. An attempt to do something a bit different.
Nick Parker 3,048 Posted January 1, 2009 Posted January 1, 2009 I would not want an album with that cover, but I still think it is pretty cool, strictly from an artistic perspective. The best part about the score, actually....
Pieter Boelen 1,019 Posted January 1, 2009 Posted January 1, 2009 Bad photoshop ahoy!Is this what you wanted, Pieter? Thanks again for your work on this one, but I have one more request to make for it.Would it be possible to somehow add a red lightsaber in the background that appears like it might be held by the main character? The other covers all have a big lightsaber on them. I quickly conjured up two simple covers for the promo for The Mummy 3 containing John Debney's replacement tracks.I could use some help trying to decide which one's the better version.Alternatively, I would welcome it if somebody were to do a better job altogether.
Mr. Breathmask 594 Posted January 1, 2009 Posted January 1, 2009 I like your first one (although Jet Li's arm looks a bit odd just sitting there on the side). In fact, I'll go add that one to my tracks right now.
Pieter Boelen 1,019 Posted January 2, 2009 Posted January 2, 2009 Thanks. Indeed that chopped off arm is rather unfortunate, but there's no squaring the picture without losing it. If you want to add that picture to your OST tracks, I can change the text so it doesn't say "Promotional Score by JOHN DEBNEY" anymore.
Mr. Breathmask 594 Posted January 2, 2009 Posted January 2, 2009 Never mind that. I don't have the OST.
Erik Woods 804 Posted January 5, 2009 Posted January 5, 2009 Here are some that I've thrown together over the past few months. Nothing special but I needed these for iTunes.-Erik-
