JoeinAR 1,955 Posted March 11, 2009 Posted March 11, 2009 In 10 years, this group hasn't changed as much as people think.Stefan Cosman, LORD and Master. In the world of John Williams, Stefan Is. Is what a simpleton might ask, he is all. He is Jaws, he is Star Wars, he is the Last Crusader. He is even Peter Pan. It is an honor to do his bidding.Mark Olivarez, Sage Elder. In the world of John Williams Mark is wise. Mark is more than John Williams, he is more than Jerry Goldsmith, he among us is the purest of Filmscore fans. Listen to him. Much he can teach you.King Mark, Williams Savant. In the World of John Williams, he is the completist. Every second of every minute of every hour, the King must have it. Fiercely loyal to the Empire, he knows no fault in the Star Wars universe.Bow, Yield, Kneel, before Zod.
Williamsfan301 12 Posted March 11, 2009 Posted March 11, 2009 Why, Stefan, how ever did you fit back into those shaming tights?
John Crichton 4 Posted March 11, 2009 Posted March 11, 2009 As President of JWFan I refuse to recognize the authority of this autocratic cabal.Officially. Of course I willingly bow before their power as everyone else should.
#SnowyVernalSpringsEternal 11,842 Posted March 11, 2009 Posted March 11, 2009 Ah the Phantom Zone...Trio.I miss it...I miss them.
Marian Schedenig 11,335 Posted March 11, 2009 Posted March 11, 2009 Must've been like a whole other zone of its own.
JoeinAR 1,955 Posted March 12, 2009 Author Posted March 12, 2009 Yet you spelled my name wrong.thats what I do, spell wrong, I do it well, just ask Datameister and Tom.
Koray Savas 2,259 Posted March 12, 2009 Posted March 12, 2009 Speaking of KM, where's he been? Haven't seen him post in awhile.
JoeinAR 1,955 Posted March 12, 2009 Author Posted March 12, 2009 good maybe i can catch up to him, he owes me those 6 months after James died that I didn't post. it allowed him to catch up and pass me.
Hitch 60 Posted March 12, 2009 Posted March 12, 2009 Of course you know the Klingon proverb that says Revenge is a dish that is best served cold.
Ollie 1,364 Posted March 12, 2009 Posted March 12, 2009 Speaking of KM, where's he been? Haven't seen him post in awhile.Didn't his PC go kaput?
FBC Director 10,764 Posted March 12, 2009 Posted March 12, 2009 Living's in the way our computers die.
JoeinAR 1,955 Posted March 12, 2009 Author Posted March 12, 2009 he bought a new one. btw he is Non, while you would be Zod, and Stefan is clearly Ursa.
JoeinAR 1,955 Posted March 12, 2009 Author Posted March 12, 2009 you're Drax, a meglomaniac who wants to annihilate most of humanity, then repopulate the world with only pretty people, all the while missing the fact that you are most unattractive and would not fit in your new society.
FBC Director 10,764 Posted March 12, 2009 Posted March 12, 2009 I'd just breed a society of women who look like Barbara Bach, Lois Chiles, Tanya Roberts, and specially for Hitch, ones that look like Sigourney Weaver.
JoeinAR 1,955 Posted March 12, 2009 Author Posted March 12, 2009 thats fine as long as the men you breed don't look like you, unless Hitch goes for that kind of man. You do have that rough trade quality I suppose.
FBC Director 10,764 Posted March 12, 2009 Posted March 12, 2009 I won't be breeding any men in my lifetime. I can't have any competition over the millions of ladies I'll breed.EDIT: Define "rough trade".
King Mark 3,908 Posted March 12, 2009 Posted March 12, 2009 Is that the updated trio? The Phantom zone Trio was K.M., Stefancos and Crushercommix
JoeinAR 1,955 Posted March 12, 2009 Author Posted March 12, 2009 crusher is gone(oh I know he lurks and lingers but he doesn't post with regularity), you three are the current leaders post wise, that makes you the current Phantom Zone trio.
Luke Skywalker 2,322 Posted March 12, 2009 Posted March 12, 2009 post count wise...It is Stefan and then the rest of us.
Koray Savas 2,259 Posted March 12, 2009 Posted March 12, 2009 The only way someone is gonna catch up to Steef is if he dies. Even then it'll take a couple years.
Mr. Breathmask 624 Posted March 12, 2009 Posted March 12, 2009 Hrumph. I was number 2 once.I guess that's what having a life does to you.
Williamsfan301 12 Posted March 12, 2009 Posted March 12, 2009 I won't be breeding any men in my lifetime. I can't have any competition over the millions of ladies I'll breed.Drax just became Harcourt Fenton Mudd
JoeinAR 1,955 Posted March 12, 2009 Author Posted March 12, 2009 Hrumph. I was number 2 once.I guess that's what having a life does to you.I wouldn't have dubbed you as part of the trio since you're a moderator.still #4 isn't bad you know.

John Crichton 4 Posted March 12, 2009 Posted March 12, 2009 Hey I'm close to surpassing John.In quantity perhaps. Quality is a whole other matter.
Wojo 2,458 Posted March 12, 2009 Posted March 12, 2009 The only way someone is gonna catch up to Steef is if he dies. Even then it'll take a couple years.Who wants to catch up to my post count?
Koray Savas 2,259 Posted March 12, 2009 Posted March 12, 2009 Hey I'm close to surpassing John.In quantity perhaps. Quality is a whole other matter. Is that how it is, eh? To hell with the Crichton administration!

To hell with the Crichton administration!I'm not sure where you're going, but I wont be naming you as a member of the Phantom Zone Trio anytime soon. To date there have only been 5 members. Oh and if you're wondering, I've always been the one to name the trio. Its an honor I will one day pass on, but only upon my deathbed.
Hitch 60 Posted March 13, 2009 Posted March 13, 2009 I sense you are plotting something fiendish no doubt
JoeinAR 1,955 Posted March 13, 2009 Author Posted March 13, 2009 its my hands isn't it, they always give me away
Elmo Lewis 7 Posted March 16, 2009 Posted March 16, 2009 Hmm... I've been in this site for almost ten years, and my post count remains as puny and scrawny as it's always been.
Hitch 60 Posted March 16, 2009 Posted March 16, 2009 That's because we don't see enough of you on here
Ollie 1,364 Posted March 16, 2009 Posted March 16, 2009 Hmm... I've been in this site for almost ten years, and my post count remains as puny and scrawny as it's always been.Perhaps, but they are always worth reading.
Hitch 60 Posted March 16, 2009 Posted March 16, 2009 Who wants to catch up to my post count?Remember Jojo, you're on your own
Hlao-roo 390 Posted March 18, 2009 Posted March 18, 2009 Hmm... I've been in this site for almost ten years, and my post count remains as puny and scrawny as it's always been. Were we to count your freaky blue kid days, you'd be approaching 6000. Not sure what my excuse is -- my online JW forum participation predates the fateful Brazilian ransacking that ended the Groovy Yak years and ushered in the present-day Ricard era.
Jim 6,172 Posted March 18, 2009 Posted March 18, 2009 Being single last year got me at least 2000 posts. And I was probably drunk whilst typing most of them. No regrets! I love this place.
Hlao-roo 390 Posted March 18, 2009 Posted March 18, 2009 Hey I'm close to surpassing John.In quantity perhaps. Quality is a whole other matter.Quality is an interesting matter to assess. For sheer fluency in musical jargon, it's hard to compete with Marcus. For exhaustive cue-by-cue, track-by-track, edit-by-edit analyses, you've got a whole host of candidates from which to choose. But, for my money, over the course of this message board's history, the member whose posts I've always held up as exemplary is Uni. His singular combination of wit, care in thought, and generosity of spirit is rare; it's a shame the pickings are so slim.
Jim 6,172 Posted March 18, 2009 Posted March 18, 2009 Yes, Marcus' indepth contributions are always worth a read, as are yours Alan. There are many good minds on here. Morlock for instance always puts a lot into his posts, and whilst he sometimes goes on a bit, his is an opinion I value. When all is said and done though, I favour personality over content. The people who post short two sentence off-the-cuff comments are the backbone of this place.
Williamsfan301 12 Posted March 18, 2009 Posted March 18, 2009 ...the fateful Brazilian ransacking...I know some people that would pay good money for that.
John Crichton 4 Posted March 18, 2009 Posted March 18, 2009 Being single last year got me at least 2000 posts. And I was probably drunk whilst typing most of them.Aha. Yes, it's making sense now...
