Kasey Kockroach 2,377
It's used twice, once at the beginning then at the very end. So you can either have it after Adoption, or after Home from the Hospital. Fun score! Wish I got the Varese release before it went out of print. I have a bootleg of it in mediocre quality myself, alas. Also, the song Little Bitty Pretty One comes after the cue Discovering Her Powers. I'll admit, when I originally did that list I couldn't find where Approaching the Enemy could be found (the asterisk is misplaced which I corrected) so I made my best guess based on the content of the film. As I do not have the new release yet, Jason does it state in the liner notes that Approaching the Enemy can be found after Omaha Beach?

Please look just 3 posts before this post of yours, Fal. My list is correct. The one you just posted is wrong. 10 hours ago, Turbo said: Thanks for reposting that Falafel. The film dropped music and tracked stuff into other places as usual, etc. In this case Approaching the Enemy was dropped entirely from where it was intended and a portion of Finding Private Ryan was tracked in for part of it instead. Quote That music was written for the part where they are walking and talking and it ends when the raindrop falls on the leaf. It is actually meant to start after the crane shot of the blimps in the aftermath of omaha but the theme was tracked again which was not good for the movie. I remember one reviewer as well as one personal friend who discredited Williams' approach for that very scene, not realizing the music was retracked. http://www.jwfan.com/forums/index.php?/topic/4265-saving-private-ryan-unused-music/&do=findComment&comment=86043 Anyways, there's no reason to use the film at all to figure out stuff, the sheet music tells the complete story. 1M1 Revisiting Normandy 3M1/4M1 Omaha Beach 5M1 Approaching The Enemy 8M1/9M1 Finding Private Ryan 10M1 Wade's Death 11M1 High School Teacher 12M1 Defense Preparations 16M1/17M1 The Last Battle 17M2 Hymm To The Fallen There's also no reason to include the album "version" of High School Teacher for any reason. It's simply the opening 43 bars of High School Teacher segueing to a massive repeat of Omaha Beach seguing back to bars 48-end of High School Teacher. The track called "High School Teacher (Film Version)" is simply all of High School Teacher with no edits and nothing missing.
