"Dear M. Aschieri.

A lot of John Williams fans like me are desperatelty looking for your book Over the Moon.

Please, can you tell me if it is still possible to buy one and if so, how and where to get it ? I have read that an english translation could be available, can you tell me if it is still in project or if it is possible to help you in any way ?"

"Dear David,

Thank you very much for your interest on OVER THE MOON.

The Book is SOULD OUT, I'm planned to print again, but it is difficult for me tell you a date...

Yes, it is possible to help me, but I don't know how...

If you think in something, tell me.

Thank you"

When we 1st spoke about this book here, i think i sent him a message too. And said he was looking to print it in Spain but had not yet found an editor. (F**K you Spanish editorials!)

That was some years ago

I had no idea there was a book about JW. Sweet!!

Is it a biography, or just notes about his compositions?

To bad it won't have anything about Harry Potter, A.I., Catch Me If You Can, Geisha, the last 2 Star Wars prequels, or the Terminal

  • 2 months later...

I contacted the author about two years ago, and since then I tried to get a Chilean contact that could buy the book. When I contacted him, he said that there were still copies at La Feria Chilena del Libro (Chilean's Book Fair), specially at the Calle Huerfanos (Orphan's Street) near McIver corner.

A friend just went there last month and couldn't find it. But he was only one day at Santiago so maybe someone with more time or that live in the city might still find it, even a used copy.

The same writer is working on a book on Jerry Goldsmith.

Let's hope that there is a reprint soon.
