Ollie 1,064
This one is tough, so many great westerns from the maestro.Lately I've been giving the Wild Rovers quite a bit of listening, a very dark and yet thematic score.Take A Hard Ride is another thematic score that tips it's hat to Morricone.Breakhart Pass has another solid theme with Goldsmith using the orchestra to simulate the train. The rest all have similar qualities with maybe the exception of Stagecoach. Morlock 11
I'm afraid my only exposure to Goldsmith westerns is the Fox set, and maybe a couple of main themes here and there. Of those, Rio Conchos is the one that gets the most play time.
scissorhands 16
My favorite, though not the best, is "Take a Hard Ride".

Hitch 57
I'm fond of WILD ROVERS...just to hear Jerry's daughter do a fine job on the song. Orchestral accompaniment is superb...as always. THE HOUR OF THE GUN overture is one of my favourite Goldsmith themes.
Pieter Boelen 740
Is there anything in there that sounds like a somewhat patriottic western with nice action music? I really like Bad Girls in that respect, but I have no knowledge of any of the others, so I can't vote.
Hitch 57
BAD GIRLS was made in what 1993 and is more action orientated music if memory serves. The rest of the scores listed at mid 60s to mid 70s. Western scores in the 90s didn't come back into fashion until DANCES WITH WOLVES and UNFORGIVEN was released in 1991 and 1992 respectively. Was HEARTBREAK PASS made in 1980?

Pieter Boelen 740
I'll vote for Bad Girls, because it's a lot of fun. There might be other good ones listed here that I've never heard, but as far as I know Bad Girls is the most fun of them all.

#SnowyVernalSpringsEternal 10,265
Because I don't care for westerns and I don't really buy a lot of pre-70's scores.I heard The Wild Rovers in concert by the LSO though and it kicked serious ass!
