Nick Parker 3,049 Posted September 2, 2008 Posted September 2, 2008 It would not take many, I would imagine. However, as Chaos Theory states, there are factors of which we are unaware that would change the answer. I wonder how many people will post in this thread before its inevitable relocation....
JoeinAR 1,955 Posted September 2, 2008 Posted September 2, 2008 I use the new LCD bulbs which are plug in, they are "green" or super energy efficient. They don't screw in.the above sentence must be said as if Stewie said it on Family guy.
QMM 4 Posted September 2, 2008 Posted September 2, 2008 However many it takes to screw it in, there'll be at least five of them lambasting the whole thing. "This isn't the way lightbulbs were screwed in when I was growing up. It's all quick flicks of the wrist now, no emotion!"
indy4 160 Posted September 2, 2008 Posted September 2, 2008 However many it takes to screw it in, there'll be at least five of them lambasting the whole thing. "This isn't the way lightbulbs were screwed in when I was growing up. It's all quick flicks of the wrist now, no emotion!"
Koray Savas 2,259 Posted September 2, 2008 Posted September 2, 2008 I agree with indy4 here. QMM, that was hilarious.
Desplat13 1 Posted September 2, 2008 Posted September 2, 2008 However many it takes to screw it in, there'll be at least five of them lambasting the whole thing. "This isn't the way lightbulbs were screwed in when I was growing up. It's all quick flicks of the wrist now, no emotion!" That was awesome!
Wojo 2,458 Posted September 2, 2008 Posted September 2, 2008 How many posters does it take to screw, wait, what?!Oh, light bulbs, never mind. Don't know what I was thinking.
Ollie 1,364 Posted September 2, 2008 Posted September 2, 2008 I dunno, I make my son change the bulbs at home. However many it takes to screw it in, there'll be at least five of them lambasting the whole thing. "This isn't the way lightbulbs were screwed in when I was growing up. It's all quick flicks of the wrist now, no emotion!"Followed by a group of members who would either bring the wrong bulb or a cheap generic one that wouldn't do the job correctly and burn out after a week.
MissPadmé 17 Posted September 2, 2008 Posted September 2, 2008 Oh just One! BUT.. you need atleast another one from outside this board.. anyone doesn't matter, who can explain him what a lightbulb is and what to do with it!
Marian Schedenig 11,336 Posted September 2, 2008 Posted September 2, 2008 Just get ONE light bulb and James Horner, he'll manage to put it in every socket in your entire house - at the same time.
Wojo 2,458 Posted September 2, 2008 Posted September 2, 2008 Well here's another question, then. How many composers does it take to screw in a light bulb?In other words, can Hans Zimmer screw in a light bulb all by himself? Or does he need help, so Lisa Gerard, Klaus Badelt, and James Newton Howard are on speed dial?
King Mark 3,908 Posted September 2, 2008 Posted September 2, 2008 0I can use my Force powers to screw the lightbulb
MissPadmé 17 Posted September 2, 2008 Posted September 2, 2008 Yes and Williams would put in a light-bulb and later the day he would take the perfectly working out and replace it with a new one, claiming:"We never had a light-bulb in there, but now we finally have!"
Jim 6,174 Posted September 2, 2008 Posted September 2, 2008 0I can use my Force powers to screw the lightbulbC'mon man! At least try to display a healthy sense of irony!
Marian Schedenig 11,336 Posted September 2, 2008 Posted September 2, 2008 Yes and Williams would put in a light-bulb and later the day he would take the perfectly working out and replace it with a new one, claiming:"We never had a light-bulb in there, but now we finally have!"Ha!
Red 75 Posted September 2, 2008 Posted September 2, 2008 In other words, can Hans Zimmer screw in a light bulb all by himself? He would say that he did, but in actuality it would be an entire team of lesser-known composer working under him (who all do it exactly the same as he does).
John Crichton 4 Posted September 2, 2008 Posted September 2, 2008 Then Giacchino would do it and be accused of just imitating the same way others did it, until you look closely and realize he does it all his own way....Yes, that was way to serious. I've been trying to think of something funny and coming up with nothing...
Jacob 1 Posted September 2, 2008 Posted September 2, 2008 0I can use my Force powers to screw the lightbulbPervert.
MissPadmé 17 Posted September 2, 2008 Posted September 2, 2008 Yes and Williams would put in a light-bulb and later the day he would take the perfectly working out and replace it with a new one, claiming:"We never had a light-bulb in there, but now we finally have!"Ha!NO, no, no! He would say "Well of course I can screw that Light-Bulb in, but there are so many people who can do it better then me! And after endless tries I finally make it and the day is saved for me!"
Neimoidian 14 Posted September 3, 2008 Posted September 3, 2008 Yes and Williams would put in a light-bulb and later the day he would take the perfectly working out and replace it with a new one, claiming:"We never had a light-bulb in there, but now we finally have!"He is old man, give him a break
Marian Schedenig 11,336 Posted September 3, 2008 Posted September 3, 2008 True, perhaps he shouldn't have to screw bulbs in those lights that need a ladder to reach them.
fommes 164 Posted September 3, 2008 Posted September 3, 2008 To put it in your words, Marian, John Williams has someone who puts in lightbulbs for him, but that person gets exact notes by Williams which way to screw the bulb, how fast to screw it in, what bulbs to use, etc. He gives him 10-screw sketches at least, with every slightest twist marked and other notes on voltage and wattage details. The light bulb person in service is really nothing more than an executor. If Williams were to screw in the bulb himself, he'd do it exactly the same way his employee does for him.
Marian Schedenig 11,336 Posted September 3, 2008 Posted September 3, 2008 I'd actually been thinking of that recently, and could barely recall what I'd written... must've been years ago!

indy4 160 Posted September 3, 2008 Posted September 3, 2008 William Ross puts in John Williams' lightbulbs.
