Trent B 347 Posted June 17, 2009 Posted June 17, 2009 Hi all just to let you know starting tomorrow I won't be on for a couple of days. I'm going in for heart surgery tomorrow and they're going to be replacing the pulmonary valve and do a couple of other things. Anyways once I'm feeling up to it in a couple of days I'll be getting on my laptop up there and I'll let you all know how things went. I'll be in the hospital for about 7-10 days. So starting now until after I get out of the hospital trading has been postponed.
artyjeffrey 20 Posted June 17, 2009 Posted June 17, 2009 Just think about floating naked chicks, it always helps me settle down.Really though, good luck dude.
Charlie Brigden 7 Posted June 17, 2009 Posted June 17, 2009 Good luck to you. While you're under the knife, you could also get an ink pouch to help you escape your enemies.
Nick Parker 3,048 Posted June 17, 2009 Posted June 17, 2009 That is the stupidest idea I have ever heard, you imbecile!Good luck and Godspeed, Trent!
artyjeffrey 20 Posted June 17, 2009 Posted June 17, 2009 ....an ink pouch...like an octopus... fascinating......a stink gland, like a skunk, would be more useful as a land-dwelling mammal. Then again, if you eat enough burritos, then you do have a stink gland. My God, the man's having heart surgery, and we're out of control.
Neimoidian 14 Posted June 17, 2009 Posted June 17, 2009 Good luck, Trent. Get well and come back soon!
Ollie 1,291 Posted June 17, 2009 Posted June 17, 2009 I just want to tell you good luck. We're all counting on you.Seriously though, best wishes.
paleo 78 Posted June 17, 2009 Posted June 17, 2009 Ouch, that doesn't sound like a lot of fun. I'll cross my fingers, and wish you all the best.
Hitch 60 Posted June 17, 2009 Posted June 17, 2009 Best of luck. I'll be playing some Psycho music for you later.

pixie_twinkle 60 Posted June 18, 2009 Posted June 18, 2009 Hope the operation went well Trent. Rooting for ya!
Williamsfan301 12 Posted June 19, 2009 Posted June 19, 2009 They checked your spark plugs while they were under your hood?Hope your recovery is a quick one!
Richard P 4,779 Posted June 20, 2009 Posted June 20, 2009 Better late than never... good luck buddy. I'd be terrified if I had to have any sort of operation at all.
JoeinAR 1,955 Posted June 21, 2009 Posted June 21, 2009 did they use the new technique going under the arm (side ribs) instead of cracking the chest?think of all the delicious hospital food.oh and Vosk, about that trade, surgery is never a valid excuse...shame about the broken leg my men are going to have to give you, but hey at least you're in the best possible place.
#SnowyVernalSpringsEternal 10,950 Posted June 21, 2009 Posted June 21, 2009 It's a tough world, and we are in a recession. I can understand what Jou is saying. It's just business!
Ollie 1,291 Posted June 21, 2009 Posted June 21, 2009 I'm sorry... what?Humor is a difficult concept.
Trent B 347 Posted June 21, 2009 Author Posted June 21, 2009 I understood Joe's humor.Anyways I just wanted to let you guys know that surgery went well. They had to do a cadaver (human valve) instead of a pigs valve. They also were able to put a stint in the left valve and take away a lot of the old scar tissue. Hopefully in a few days I'll be out of here.
Nick Parker 3,048 Posted June 21, 2009 Posted June 21, 2009 Excellent news! Now all you need to do is avoid Joey's agents....
fommes 161 Posted June 21, 2009 Posted June 21, 2009 Good to hear the operation went well! (Live from the operation table? )
JoeinAR 1,955 Posted June 22, 2009 Posted June 22, 2009 I'm sorry... what?I'm sorry josh, I mean Indy4.....
Trent B 347 Posted June 22, 2009 Author Posted June 22, 2009 By the way for the record Joe if I had any trades going on before my surgery date I would have made sure everyone got their stuff before I went into the hospital. As I said I understood your humor but a lot here do not.
Trent B 347 Posted June 23, 2009 Author Posted June 23, 2009 They finally got the chest tubes out of me, almost typed test tubes lmao. Anyways with those coming out things feel better all ready, even coughing it's not as hard. They said if everything continues to go well I'll most likely get tp gp home on Wednesday.

As I said I understood your humor but a lot here do not. you are hard headed and stubborn as a mule, but you are not an idiot. That always helps when you have surgery, it really helps being meaner than what ails you
