Major update at JWFAN! We have added more than 100 pages, many of which were available on previous incarnations of the site, containing score analyses, cue lists, album reviews, interviews and much more. The following sections have been revamped and updated to reflect the new additions:

Complete Works

  • Filmography: Full list of film works with links to all major releases of each score, complete cue lists, score analyses, album reviews, interviews…
  • Concert Works: Basic information, premiere dates, conductors/orchestras and links to all releases of each concert work
  • TV Works: Complete list of TV works with number of episodes scored and links to all available releases
  • Other Works: Links to all available releases

Excellent work! It is simply brilliant to have those sections back. An invaluable resource. :)

Very cool! I'd been hoping for some of this for a long time!

Nice see all the video links! A few corrections:

*The Cowboys links to an out of print DVD. There's a newer edition out, as well as a Blu-ray.

*Munich links to The Terminal. The 2-disc DVD for Munich is out of print—I never got it, but it appears to have a featurette with Williams. Hopefully it will appear on the eventual Blu-ray.

And a minor thing on the Concert Works page. It mentions the Fanfare for Michael Dukakis premiering in July 1988. Looks like the date was July 21 (link).

Again, so glad to see all this! Especially the return of some of those long lost cue lists and analyses.

Fantastic! I've been waiting for these updates for a long time :)

One minor correction, though: I believe the Dracula DVD does contain a JW featurette, but I'm not sure... Here's the documentary I'm talking about:

I'd love to get this, but I think I'll wait until the price goes down (hopefully).

Good stuff, Ricard! Nice to see this handy resource back.

All additions/corrections/suggestions are welcome!

In the complete cue list for Dracula, these are the three pieces of source music:

5 = La Cumparsita (composed by Gerardo Hernan Matos Rodriguez)

7 = Tales from the Vienna Woods (composed by Johann Strauss II - opus 325)

15 = Sicilienne from Pelleas et Melisande suite (composed by Gabriel Faure - opus 80)

Happy to see the stuff I researched a while back (esp. in relation to the tv work) being implemented, as well as other things. It's a neverending quest to get total overview, but ultimately a rewarding one for all JW fans.

Thank you Ricard and thank you Jason. By the way Ricard the jwfan site looks great again. You carefully updated and improved it from the not so good work in progress version to the beautiful site we have now. The new added sections have a great color sceme and look smooth and accessible. Great work!

The goal now will be to add the new cue lists, articles and informations that have surfaced over the last few years. When i have time i will look through all the entries and post more suggestions.

Concerning the ET entry you could post a link to the main page article on the new Stargazers concert arrangement that was played in Boston 2009.

The two new KotCS concert arrangements played in Tanglewood 2008 could also be mentioned in the Indy 4 entry.
