A.I. Artificial Intelligence (2001) - 2015 3CD set from La-La Land Records

Great score for a superb film.

I have no interest in an expansion myself, of course, but I know how much it's been craved by fans since the film came out (especially the popularity of the academy award promo, which I think had some extra cues). So congrats to you!

Hope it's all there!!!!!

With 3 CDs one would assume it is!

So OST will be on it, too (I assume). Cool, it's an interesting alternate view on this score and I lost my copy ages ago.

No better words to read about an expanded release!

Amen!

Do you think the 3rd disc is the OST? It seems to begin with For Always (looks like it reads Performed by Lara Fabian beneath the first title).

I'm trying to make out the track list.

Disc 3 could be the OST + one track more, but it doesn't seem so.

I see many italics in that disc, so it may be the bonus/alternates disc.

3,000 copies? This is going to sell out quick.

You said that about Hook.

Hook was 5,000 copies.

This is the one I wanted the most (well, after Dracula).

Also that sample page looks like it says the essay is by Jeff Bond?

Yeah it seems so. Not bad. Bond writes excellent liner note essays. :)

I can't wait to dump my playlist of the OST/Academy Promo... I never felt like I got it completely right.

The heading under Disc 3 is Additional music

Oh yeah. And Under Disc 1, Disc 2 is

The Film Score and The Film Score (cont'd)

Something like that.

tracks 4 & 5 of cd 2 seem to have the same title. Maybe the album and film version?

I think 2nd word is "through"

Looks like they are using a lot of the actual cue titles.

Disc 3 does't appear to be the OST - the OST was 13 tracks, and Disc 3 here is 14.

Looking at the words at the top, it looks like it says

ONE The Film Score

TWO The Film Score (Continued)

THREE Additional Music

And it looks like For Always is tracks 1 (Fabian) and 14 (Fabian/Groban) of Disc 3

Looks like MV's clue was refering to his first post in the FSM thread where they were talking of 3 discs. :)

The Oscar promo was a complete mess with repeated cues. I can't imagine that would be replicated here.

And it's not replicated. This release was rebuilt from the ground up with Mr Williams's full support. 1941, Hook, and Empire of the Sun paved the way for this great release and for future Williams/Spielberg projects yet to come.

:)
