Thor 8,433
FSM reports that Eric Tomlinson has passed away at age 84 -- the famous recording engineer who worked on so many classic scores, including iconic Williams scores like STAR WARS, SUPERMAN and RAIDERS. I believe he first worked with Williams on FIDDLER ON THE ROOF.He was certainly a familiar name to me in my formative years, as I constantly saw his name on the back of soundtrack albums. publicist 4,647
RIP. His recordings did have a lot of analogue warmth but could be easily destroyed by bad mastering. John Dutton
