On March 24, 2023, John Williams will conduct the Chicago Symphony Orchestra in a program initially slated for June 9, 2022, and later canceled due to a “scheduling change in a prior film commitment” -most likely the Indiana Jones 5 recording sessions.
The Maestro last conducted the Chicago Symphony in 2018, sharing the podium with Richard Kaufman (reviews, photos & videos).
With the new date added, Williams is set to conduct a total of nine concerts in the US and Europe in less than a year.
