Williams Conducts ‘Over the Rainbow’ for Charity Album

As we reported last year, John Williams recently contributed to the album ‘They Are Why We Sing’, a compilation of songs and themes about peace produced by world-renowned cellist Lynn Harrell and his wife, the violinist Helen Nightengale. For this album, Williams conducted a recording of the song “Somewhere Over the Rainbow” arranged by Randy Kerber and performed by soprano Christine Brewer (see photo gallery and a video of the recording session).
