John Williams’ 2021 Berlin Concert, released earlier this year on various formats, has been nominated for the 2023 Grammy Awards in the Best Orchestral Performance category.
The Maestro’s total number of Grammy nominations now stands at 73, with 25 wins (see list of Awards and Nominations for the Oscars, Grammys and Golden Globes).
Additionally, Williams’ Violin Concerto No. 2 & Selected Film Themes has received a nomination as Best Engineered Album (Classical). Awards in this category are given to those involved in the engineering of the album.
The 65th Annual Grammy Awards will be held on February 5, 2023 in Los Angeles.
