John Williams and Thomas Adès will conduct the Vienna Philharmonic at the Wiener Musikverein on December 7 & 8, 2024, the orchestra announced today via their Facebook page.
This will be the Maestro’s third visit to the venue, following his 2020 concerts (released by Deutsche Grammophon later that year) and his 2022 performances, from which the label released three singles in 2022/23.
The start of the ticket sale as well as the exact program for the December 2024 concerts will be announced at a later date.
