According to official announcements, “due to a recent health concern, from which he is expected to make a full recovery”, John Williams will not conduct the Hollywood Bowl, Tanglewood and Chicago performances, which will take place under the baton of other conductors.
The announcements do not affect the Vienna, Los Angeles and Berlin concerts which are expected to take place in December, April and May.
