Koray Savas 2,254
But FSM's page says N/A. I honestly thought it was unlimited. The Train Station 8,767
Oh crap, I thought Kong would have lasted longer. I refrained because I already have the first FSM CD. I might chuck in a few used CDs because of the 20%-off promotion.

The Train Station 8,767
I got the Elmer box, King Kong, The Stripper and Rome Adventure. However I think my overseas buying from these sites is almost at an end because of the sharply declining Aussie dollar, which is presently down at 93 cents US. It's speculated to plummet below 90 cents in the coming weeks. I was fearing the US economic recovery would have this kind of negative impact. Marian Schedenig 9,105
The recently increased international shipping prices from the US are what's bothering me. That combined with the fact that I always bundle lots of CDs together to make an overseas order worthwhile. That means either waiting until there are several new release I want, but often I don't dare wait that long because they might sell out. Or I add stuff from SAE's used section, often blind buys for good prices. But lately I'm having a hard time finding interesting CDs aside from the newest releases - it seems that by now I have nearly everything of interest (to me) that's available. But ordering a single CD from the US isn't financially worthwhile anymore. The Train Station 8,767
Yeah it'll get to the point where the Aus will drop to 50 cents US, where a single CD priced at $19.99 will be double that. Add a double price in shipping, then I'm looking at about $80 just for one CD. Only a single global currency would potentially solve this.

No point ordering a single CD and pay 10 $ postage on it when the postage might in some cases (used/discount CDs) be more than the price of the CD itself. Marian Schedenig 9,105
The problem is that there's no local (or at least "more local") soundtrack speciality store (that I know of). If I want to get any of the limited Label releases, I have no choice but order at one of the US online stores. I always liked to bundle this stuff and only occasionally switched to single CD orders from MM.com if something urgent came along unexpectedly. But now that I really have too many CDs already and apparently only a few of interest remaining that I don't have, it's getting complicated. UNDER FIRE is back in stock now. Watch the FSM/SAE site when the others are available. SUPERMAN and THE WILD BUNCH will take six to eight weeks and we will do a few others if print still exists. Jay 39,596
Here's Lukas' post on the re-issue:11/19/13:By popular demand, we went through and counted up our leftover parts for this and manufactured what was missing to create another—and final, this time it really will be final—300 units. Going once, going twice...http://www.screenarchives.com/title_detail.cfm/ID/13181/MIKLOS-ROZSA-TREASURY-2000-EDITION/In case this is not quite clear, when we manufacture the box sets—or any product, for that matter—we don't get exactly the number of units requested. The manufacturer(s) make an overrun of the various parts (discs, booklets, boxes) due to the inevitable "spoilage" during the printing, pressing and assembling processes. We had leftover parts and we ordered enough of what we were missing to finish this off... This time, though, it really is "all gone" after these units sell out.LukasAnd in another act of generosity:Hi All:I am happy to announce that going forward the complete FSM print archive (pdfs of all the print editions, 1990-2005) are available for unlimited free download. (Formerly they were behind the FSM Online paywall.)It is important to me that this material be accessible for fans, scholars or anyone who might be interested. The FSMO issues (2006-present) are available for FSMO subscribers, $4.95 per month, and I recommend those too.Knock yourself out!http://www.filmscoremonthly.com/fsmonline/backissues_print.cfmLukas Kendall
