Guest
There are some plans for Jurassic Park IV. Spielberg seems to have a great idea, though director is yet to be announced. He said in a recent interview, that if it is made, it will be the last film in the series.I suppose that means that all the dinosaurs will die or something. It seems interesting to see an ending of the Jurassic Park series once and for all.If there will be a JP4, do you think Williams will score it?? CruciformSword 2
There was a past report that said that the fourth movie would "ignore the story line of jp3" or something like that. Whatever they have in it, I'm sure it'll be interesting, and I'll see it no matter what. And I doubt it will be scored by Williams. If he didn't want to do JP3, that means that he doesn't want to score any more dino films. Don Davis will probably score the fourth movie.-Jason

Steven Awalt 0
I'd read in multiple places that Williams had to pass on JP3 because his comittment to score A.I. made it impossible to score both films (due to the close proximity of production/release). Not sure if that's how Williams' saw it, but a handful of reports said as much.

Ross 1
Well I really hate The Lost World, they really ruined the saga with that one. Whose idea was it to fill the island with machos in motorbikes and have them running around dinosaurs? Not Michael Crichton's, methinks. Actually, I like JP3 over TLW because it doesn't try to be BIGGER and LOUDER and LONGER than any of the other ones: it didn't really have much ambition and that I like.I love the first Jurassic. It's the best fantasy Spielberg film from the 90's. But if you look at it coolly, you see how many mistakes it has. It's really the same reason why I like this new Star Wars trilogy over the original one. Sure, coolly Empire Strikes Back is WAY BETTER than The Phantom Menace but not for me. For the mere reason that I wasn't there when ESB came out, but I was here when TPM opened. I was intoxicated by the magic of the film, the merchandise, etc. It's something you can't get from a VHS or DVD.It's that simple: I was intoxicated by JP1's magic and spectularity. TLW was the same techincally, only it lacked that magic.-ROSS, who's typing too much lately and should study more

Luke Skywalker 1,941
Is Dr grant in this movie or not? I didnt understood Neill's comment very well.Luke, thinking Alan Grant is the best Character from the JP franchise. If you think, ************SPOILER***************Malcom in the lost world does not fit well. He was supposed dead and he was resucited ->that was a little unbelievable. Furthermore the book sotry is about Malcom and Levine interested on extiction. BUt in the end Malcom only was, and Levine was more interested in DIno behavior. It would had more sense to have Levine (biologist) interested in extiction and Grant (paleontologist) interested in dinos' behaviour.**************END OF SPOILER***************

charlesk 0
I think the story would be that because of the way they were created, with the DNA of a more advanced creature (frog), these dinosaurs are far more advanced than the original ones and are evolving very rapidly and spreading throught the world. There will be increasing reports of people killed in the suburbs by strange creatures. If we don't stop them, dinosaurs will reclaim their predominance over to world. Then it comes the ethical question: should we exterminate an species because they will become more intelligent than us?Sorry, I'm fantasizing about this since thread was opened. I want spielberg do more action/aventure movies!! He's just great at that and the last bit of action he gave in minority was too short. What matters is survival and advanced species just tend to be better at that, they can be worse. And how are dino's going to take over the world when have technology and they don't?
