To be fair, this documentary is for the masses and not necessarily JW fanatics like us. There are actually people out there who have never heard the Schindler's List anecdote before!

I was in a shopping mall and heard Abandoned in the Woods from AI over the speakers. A very unexpected and odd choice for shopping mall background music. I presume it was on a compilation album that they were using.

The flubs during the horn solo at the beginning are painful but the really eerie segue between The Prologue and The Motorcade is so cool. And the The Motorcade performance itself is spectacular.

I'd love to see the JFK suite live. I presume it hasn't been conducted since the 90s.

It seems I missed the drama about these unreleased tracks. What happened? Did LLL accidentally use unapproved alternates for some tracks in early pressings?

I missed this before it became out of stock. Back when Octopussy and Live and Let Die were released, I ordered them immediately and checked AI but it was still out of stock. Literally a minute after I completed the order, LLL tweeted that AI was back in stock. I asked them if I could add AI to my Bond order because I didn't want to pay a second delivery charge to Ireland, but they refused. That was a bit annoying. Anyway, now I can order Sugerland and AI together. Paying delivery for just one CD to Ireland isn't very cost effective.

Glad to hear from Mike Matessino that he is expected to make a full recovery, as the official statement said. I never doubted that until people started hinting at rumors going around LA musician circles that his condition was more serious. I think it shows how rumors can get out of hand. For example, if someone was resting at home after experiencing chest pains, that could end up being a rumor that he is bed ridden after suffering a heart attack.

I'll be honest, there are a number of other scores both from JW and others that are higher on my holy grail list for an expansion, but nevertheless a JW release from LLL is always cause for celebration. Nice that this historic score now has the deluxe treatment.
