Not much to add since I covered this same program\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.jwfan.com\/forums\/index.php?\/topic\/35204-john-williams-with-yo-yo-ma-in-philadelphia-tuesday-feb-20-2024\/&amp;do=findComment&amp;comment=2012813\" rel=\"\">in my post about the Philly concert<\/a>, but Williams was again in amazing spirits, even widely smiling at the orchestra while conducting. He couldn\u2019t remember Mark Hamill\u2019s name, referring only to Carrie Fisher\u2019s screen \u201cpartner\u201d, but that\u2019s literally my only nitpick beyond again lamenting the missed opportunity of having Williams conduct Yo-Yo Ma himself.<\/p>\n<p>Beyond that, nothing but great energy from the stage and the audience, and in an iconic and historic venue that Williams highly praised when he began the second half of the program (even theorizing there are ghosts in the Hall that dance and play music when it\u2019s empty after performances).<\/p>\n<p>I guess for now, this is it until Tanglewood for East Coast-ers. August feels so far away, but I\u2019m sure it\u2019ll be here before we all know it!
