This program sparkles with invention and contrast: the stormy brilliance of C.P.E. Bach, the crystalline craftsmanship of Stravinsky, Britten\u2019s haunting Serenade for Tenor, Horn and Strings, and John Williams\u2019 Serenade for Horn and Strings. Mr. Williams (E.T.<\/em> and Star Wars<\/em>) was a family friend of Jesse Clevenger\u2019s and wrote this piece in memory of Jesse\u2019s mother after she passed away in 2011.<\/strong><\/p>\n

We\u2019re thrilled to feature two radiant artists\u2014tenor Salvatore Atti and horn player Jesse Clevenger\u2014whose poetic sensitivity and luminous sound will bring Britten\u2019s nocturnal vision vividly to life. Haydn\u2019s \u201cMiracle\u201d Symphony closes the program with trademark wit and charm.<\/p>\n
