On Friday, February 10, John Williams and Anne-Sophie Mutter recorded a brand new arrangement for violin and orchestra of Helena’s Theme from Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny at Sony Pictures Studios in Culver City, California.
The new version received its world premiere by the San Francisco Symphony Orchestra on February 14 as part of the ‘John Williams with Anne-Sophie Mutter’ concert at the city’s Davies Symphony Hall.
