Williams Receives 49th Oscar Nomination

John Williams has received his 49th Academy Award nomination for his score to The Book Thief, it was announced this morning in Hollywood. Williams’ score has been nominated along with Gravity by Steven Price, Her by William Butler and Owen Pallett, Philomena by Alexandre Desplat, and Saving Mr. Banks by Thomas Newman. The winners will be announced at the Oscars ceremony on March 2 at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles. – Full list of nominees
