John Williams Eager to Reunite with Cleveland Orchestra, Conduct at Severance Hall (Preview)

A longtime friend of the Cleveland Orchestra, the legendary film composer and laureate director of the Boston Pops Orchestra, 86, said his upcoming visit to Cleveland feels extra special because it’s taking place not at Blossom Music Center but, for the first time, at the orchestra’s storied main home.

“That makes me even more excited,” said Williams in Los Angeles. “Severance Hall is one of the beacons of our musical life. It’s a return long awaited and I know I’ll enjoy it very much.”
