Williams to Conduct the Pittsburgh Symphony on June 13 – Tickets go on Sale This Friday

John Williams will conduct the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra on June 13 in a special one-night-only appearance. The Maestro will be joined by violinist Anne-Sophie Mutter to perform selected works from “Across the Stars,” the recent album collaboration between Mr. Williams and Ms. Mutter that includes many of Williams’ best known movie themes arranged specifically for her. Williams last led the Pittsburgh Symphony in 2011.

During the first half of the concert, PSO music director Manfred Honeck will lead the orchestra with Ms. Mutter, who called the PSO her “favorite American orchestra” in a statement, in Beethoven’s Violin Concerto.

Tickets range from $35-$125 and go on sale to the public on Friday Jan. 24 at 10 a.m. For more information, visit pittsburghsymphony.org.
