John Williams’ score for Star Wars: The Force Awakens has been nominated for the British Academy Awards (BAFTAs) in the Best Original Music category. The other nominated scores are The Hateful Eight by Ennio Morricone, Bridge of Spies by Thomas Newman, The Revenant by Ryuichi Sakamoto and Carsten Nicolai, and Sicario by Jóhann Jóhannsson.
The BAFTA ceremony will take place at London’s Royal Opera House on February 14, two weeks before the Oscars. – Full list of nominees
