John Williams’ latest concert work ‘Bravo Gustavo!’ received its World Premiere last night, under the baton of Gustavo Dudamel and the leading trumpet of Thomas Hooten. The fanfare, a tribute to Dudamel and the musicians of the Los Angeles Philharmonic, was written by Williams to showcase the orchestra’s trumpet section among the full ensemble.
