On June 3, John Williams conducted the Los Angeles Philharmonic Orchestra in the World Premiere of his new composition ‘Centennial Overture’, composed in celebration of the 100th Anniversary of the Hollywood Bowl. The performance took place during the Opening Night at the Bowl, with Gustavo Dudamel conducting the orchestra for the rest of the evening.
Williams will return to the Bowl for the annual Maestro of the Movies performances on September 2, 3 & 4.
